2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 T flour
2 C milk
1 ½ t poultry seasoning
4 C cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
4 C mixed vegetables like corn and peas
4 C stiff mashed potatoes
Mix the first 4 ingredients well in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Stir the poultry and vegetables into the sauce, heat through, pour into oven proof bowls. Spread the mashed potatoes on top of each serving. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake until heated through and bubbly. This will serve about 8.
Substitution for 2 cans of cream soup
1 C dry milk
4 T cornstarch
4 t chicken base
½ t onion powder, basil, thyme, white pepper
¼ t garlic powder
18 oz cold water
