All Inclusive Rates

Our activities begin Sunday afternoon, with check-in 2:30 to 6 PM, and run through lunch on Saturday afternoon, with checkout by 2 PM. Some ranches have a 7 night week. At Latigo, you can ride morning and afternoon Monday through Friday. To cap off our week’s horseback activities, Saturday morning has an early ride followed by brunch before you head down the road. Many other ranches with 7 night stays don’t have rides Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning anyway. So, you will not be missing any riding. Some other ranches have one day dedicated to rafting or some other off-ranch activity that may mean one less day with your horse. With our schedule, Saturday afternoon and Sunday you have a little time to explore Colorado; maybe visit Rocky Mountain National Park or catch a rodeo. Also, you could schedule a plane late Saturday afternoon or early Sunday that will get you home at a reasonable hour. Once you’re home, you then have a chance to catch-up before you jump into Monday’s activities.

A deposit of 25% is required to confirm your reservation. Cancellations made before 45 days of scheduled arrival will result in a refund of the deposit less a $150 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations made within 45 days of scheduled arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit unless we can fill the vacated space. If we can fill the vacated space with some other guest, then the deposit will be refunded, less the fee.

Latigo offers an especially creative atmosphere for truly productive sessions. We avoid mixing group meetings with our regular guests. Ask what we can offer for your group during the early-summer and fall seasons. Many groups have enjoyed in the winter too.

For the comfort and convenience of our non-smoking guests, smoking of any kind is not permitted in any of the ranch buildings or on any of the horseback rides.

Although recreational use of marijuana is permitted under certain circumstances by Colorado law, we neither condone nor permit the use of marijuana products on Latigo Ranch property.our property is contiguous with the U.S. Forest Service, and many of our activities take place on the National Forest. Use or possession of marijuana on federal lands is not allowed by law. Possession of marijuana on federal land is punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of $1,000 on the first offense, along with a 15-day mandatory sentence that can be extended to two years in prison for a second offense. After that, perpetrators can receive a 90-day to three-year prison term, and a $5,000 fine.

Find out the law before you come to Colorado. Marijuana use is not as freewheeling as many think. If you are not a Colorado resident, you can only purchase 1/4 of an ounce of marijuana at a time from a licensed retail outlet. You must be 21 years of age. Retail marijuana is intended for private, personal use. Such use is only legal in certain locations not open or accessible to the public. Marijuana may not be consumed openly or publicly. You may not use it in areas accessible to the public such as transportation facilities, schools, amusement/sporting/music venues, parks, playgrounds, sidewalks and roads and outdoor and rooftop cafes. It is also illegal to smoke at indoor-but-public locations like bars, restaurants and common areas in buildings. Driving a motor vehicle while impaired is illegal whether the impairment is from alcohol or marijuana.

Colorado voters approved a measure in 2022 decriminalizing the posession and personal use of psychedelic mushrooms for those over the age of 21. Again, these are still controlled substances under Federal law. These items may not be purchased or sold and may not be used in public.
